Applied scientist, AWS - AI Labs.
I'm a Ph.D. student at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, Technion, Israel, under the supervision of Prof. Yoav Schechner and applied science researcher at Amazon Web Service (AWS) - AI Labs. My research explores the interface between machine learning, physics-based imaging, 3D tomography, and computational photography. I obtained my B.Sc. in 2019 and a M.Sc. in 2021, both at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, Technion, Israel. In 2021 and 2023 I conducted summer internships at AWS - AI Labs. During my internship, our paper GLASS: Global to Local Attention for Scene-Text Spotting was accepted to ECCV'22, as an oral presentation. Additionally, our paper Plankton Reconstruction Through Robust Statistical Optical Tomography won the JOSA A Emerging Researcher Best Paper Prize for 2021.
